Alireza Farazpey, DDS
Dr. Alireza Farazpey is a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
candidate at the UCSF School of Dentistry (Class of 2028), with
a multidisciplinary background spanning clinical care,
education, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Before entering dental school, Alireza studied at UC Berkeley’s
Haas School of Business and held senior leadership roles in
both startups and consulting. He has served as founder and
CEO of multiple ventures, Director of Strategy at health
technology firms, and a management consultant, leading
cross-functional teams to drive innovation across diverse
sectors globally.
Alongside his professional and academic path, Alireza has
been deeply engaged in public health outreach and clinical
service. He remains committed to expanding access to care
through education, direct service, and community-based
models. His passion for community service is rooted in lived
experience and a deep empathy for underserved
populations. From volunteering at CDA Cares and Smiles for
All to his work with international nonprofits like the Foundation
for Global Children’s Rights and the RAH Foundation, Alireza
brings a humanitarian spirit to every aspect of his journey.
Through his involvement with IAMA, Alireza hopes to support
mentorship programs, contribute to youth, medical, and
dental section initiatives, and help advance IAMA’s mission of
education, collaboration, and service within the Iranian American healthcare community.
